Biking and places to stop

If you would rather explore the area on two wheels, the area of Wengen/La Val offers a variety of itineraries. There is something for everyone: mountain bikers and E-bikers have a choice of shady forest roads and punchy single trails, while racing bikers and motorcyclists will find their happiness on the hairpin bends of the pass roads. The host, Markus Rubatscher, is a passionate cyclist and bike guide himself, and he will be happy to share his insider tips with you – or even take you on one of his tours (for a fee).
During your tours, you will always be accompanied by magnificent views. And if you need a breather, you can stop by at one of the many Alpine huts along the way and sample the local specialities, or get back to Hotel Pider and treat yourself to a delectable à la carte meal.
